I'm thrilled to share a new amazing milestone in our journey. We've successfully closed a $7.5M fundraising round, led by Newion with the participation of XAnge, Nauta, Riverside Acceleration Capital, and Picea Capital. This brings our total funding to nearly $15M, marking a pivotal point in our mission to redefine enterprise product management globally.

The evolution of airfocus

Our journey at airfocus started modestly with a simple yet powerful vision: to alleviate the pain points in product management I experienced firsthand as a PM. We began with a prioritization tool, addressing a key challenge I faced in my role. Over time, this vision expanded to create a modular platform that would be the home for product managers, similar to CRMs for sales and Git for developers. Today, this platform empowers over 800 leading companies, including Caterpillar, The Washington Post, and Orange, with unparalleled flexibility in roadmapping, prioritization, customer insights, and OKR alignment.

Empowering global teams with a unified Product Operating System

Our AI-assisted Product Operating System is more than just software. It's a comprehensive solution that seamlessly integrates with tools like Jira, providing a single source of truth for entire product organizations. This integration is crucial in today’s tech-centric world, where the efficiency of product management directly impacts a company's success.

We're humbly undertaking the task of reshaping how companies approach product management, driven by our recent introductions of AI and OKR features into our platform.

Looking ahead with gratitude and ambition

This funding round, a vote of confidence from respected industry names, is not just an endorsement of our past achievements but a catalyst for future innovation. We're trying to be an agent of change in the product management space, and this investment helps us to continue on that path.

We’ve also further enriched our (extended) team with prominent industry thought leaders and product influencers such as Petra Wille and Tim Herbig, who have joined us as angels in this round as we move product management forward together. It's not just about funding; their expertise keeps us at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, helping us empower product teams globally to build the right products.

In the pipeline, we're laser-focused on launching key enterprise features like team fields, a public API, AI functionality for automated feedback processing, user insights, and integrations with third-party systems like Miro or Figma. The upcoming airfocus docs feature is particularly exciting, as it will bring a new level of alignment and efficiency to product strategy.

A heartfelt thank you to my co-founders Valentin Firak and Christian Hoffmeister for their partnership, our leaders Julian, Olivia, Gary, and Christoph, and every team member, customer, partner, and friend who has supported us. Your belief in our vision has been the cornerstone of our journey.

Here's to the future of building better products faster and transforming the landscape of enterprise product management together with airfocus.
