Yes. The airfocus Insights agent continuously reads feedback across every channel and surfaces strategic patterns without waiting for a human to prompt it. The Autofill agent can help take care of any manual tagging of data - including routing feedback and adding other fields for items. Beyond native agents, the airfocus MCP server lets teams build custom agents that query and act on airfocus data inside external tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, supporting agentic product workflows grounded in your actual feedback, strategy, roadmap, and decision history.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Our commitment to data privacy and protection is relentless, from where data comes from and is stored to how it's used to train models. Here are the facts:
  • By default, AI capabilities are turned on for all airfocus accounts with access created after March 17, 2026.
  • airfocus does not use customer data to train models in a way that breaches the confidentiality of our customers' data.
  • We do not use your prompt inputs to generate content for other customers based on your data.
  • We do not permit Azure OpenAI to use customer data to improve or train its AI models.
  • We do store items for your use, and any content in those items is stored for your use as well.
As we expand our AI capabilities, we will continue to do so in a way that does not breach the confidentiality of our customers' data. Read more on airfocus' data privacy and security.
Does airfocus AI work with our existing fields, integrations, and workflows?
Yes. airfocus integrates with the tools your teams already use, including Jira, Azure DevOps, Slack, Intercom, Zendesk, Trello, Shortcut, and more, syncing feedback and roadmap data automatically. Custom fields and hierarchies are fully supported, so the AI can reason over your organization's structure and terminology rather than forcing teams into a rigid template. Feedback flows in from every connected tool, structured product context stays current in airfocus, and prioritized work flows back out to delivery systems. This also includes the AI tools you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini...) via the airfocus MCP server.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is a standard way for AI applications to connect with external tools, systems, and data sources. For product teams, MCP is especially useful because it lets AI tools work with real product context rather than starting from a blank slate. In airfocus, the MCP server gives approved AI tools secure, structured access to roadmap items, priorities, customer feedback, objectives, and the logic behind key product decisions.

What airfocus data can external AI tools access through MCP, and how current is it?
External AI tools connected via the airfocus MCP server can access approved product context, including strategy, roadmaps, objectives, and customer feedback. The data reflects the live state of your airfocus workspace, so when a team queries feedback or roadmap status through Claude or Copilot, they are working with current information, not a cached export or a stale report. All airfocus AI capabilities respect the permission settings configured in your workspace.
