The V2MOM framework was created by Marc Benioff at Salesforce, based on a process he learned during his time at Oracle. Benioff wrote Salesforce’s first V2MOM on an American Express envelope while launching Salesforce in 1999. 

Salesforce utilized the V2MOM framework to guide all of its major business decisions from “day one.”
