2025 has been a year of movement. Fast, loud, global movement, and quiet, foundational progress behind the scenes.
If last year was about setting direction, this one was about acceleration. And as we look back, one theme rises above the rest: We didn’t grow alone. “Joining Lucid was a significant highlight of 2025, but what I’m most proud of is how our customers and the airfocus team showed up,” reflects Malte Scholz, Head of Product and co-founder of airfocus. “Customers gave us direction, and our team, who executed relentlessly. If 2026 is anything like 2025, it’s going to be a whirlwind of progress and growth for all of us.”
What happened at airfocus by Lucid in 2025?
This year marked one of the most defining steps in our company’s history: the acquisition that brought the next evolution of airfocus into reality.
Joining forces with Lucid wasn’t just a strategic move, it was a doubling down on who we want to be for product organizations.
Bringing together two powerful product philosophies under one roof has already accelerated what we’re able to deliver – and this story has just begun.

If you spotted an airfocus hoodie at a conference this year, there’s a good chance we’d just sprinted from a panel or a flight gate.
We made it a priority to be where product conversations were happening: in hallways, auditoriums, rooftop meetups, and community dinners. Our airfolks represented us in:
75 events
17 speaking opportunities
9 countries
From New York to Melbourne, Barcelona to Zurich, we met thousands of product leaders, practitioners, product managers, and thinkers. One sentiment came up everywhere. Showing up matters. Listening matters even more, and those conversations have deeply shaped what we’re building next. See the must-attend product management events in 2026.
When AI began reshaping product cultures, processes, and org charts, we knew product leaders needed clarity, not hype. So we gathered the people who could offer it.
Marty Cagan joined us live, and thousands tuned in as he shared practical, sometimes provocative insights about AI’s impact on product orgs.
Alongside Marty, we also hosted:
Zendesk’s VP of Product, Lucy Field, revealing how she prevents burnout and empowers product managers to think beyond delivery.
Lucid’s CPO, Dan Lawyer, sharing his team’s journey from a 2010 startup to a visual collaboration leader with 70M+ users.
A panel of experts, including Twitch’s CPO, predicting the biggest product shifts coming in 2026 – and how teams can stay ahead.
These weren’t just conversations, they were direction.
Watch back this year's webinars.
Nothing motivates us, or challenges us, like hearing how real product teams use airfocus.
This year brought eight new customer case studies, each one full of aha-moments, experiments, and transformations.
Our first-ever airfocus and Lucid cross-sell story showed what’s possible when strategy and collaboration tools align seamlessly.
They told us: “We needed something where there's complete transparency and cross department and cross-functional work enabled – and that's definitely something airfocus can solve for us.”
The transformation was dramatic: “Before airfocus, we had 5,000 unprocessed insights. Now, we have at most 20.”

While our events and webinars made the noise, our product and engineering teams quietly powered our product forward.
Measured not just by output, but by impact: 549 tasks shipped
Our feedback team processed 1,020 pieces of customer feedback.
But 2025 wasn’t just about shipping tasks. It was about making product teams’ lives easier. Here’s how we’ve made our tool even more flexible and scalable.
Scale your product team without the permission chaos. With Member groups, you can add collections of people (e.g., leadership, design team) to workspaces, items, or comments. Keep everyone in sync – all in bulk, all in one click. Read more about Member groups
Not all feedback is equal. Now you can weight feedback items (by deal size, request type, customer tier, etc.) when calculating insight scores. A boost in strategic clarity when deciding what to build next.
As teams grow, streamlined workspaces become critical. That’s why we enhanced the organization of workspaces in the left sidebar, with:
Team-wide workspace order: Standardize the order of workspaces across a team to promote a shared understanding.
Workspace sub-groups: Nest workspace groups within other groups for improved hierarchy and organization.
Read more about sub-groups.
This allows users to manage these settings at the individual or Member groups level. More flexible and granular control for more secure and confident collaboration.
You can now sync SCIM groups directly with airfocus Member groups. SCIM & integration updates streamline team management and integration workflows. This is particularly valuable for enterprise users with complex organizational structures.
We’ve been working on something big – quietly, thoughtfully, and with the same input-driven philosophy that’s guided our growth so far.
The full 2026 Product Roadmap is coming soon, and we can confidently say it represents the most ambitious era of airfocus yet.
This year, we listened, learned, built, and transformed.
Stay tuned. The future of product is about to get even clearer.
