Jackie Bavaro is an advisor and the former head of product management at Asana, one of the world’s most popular project management tools.
She has been involved with Asana for nearly ten years, leading the product management team and product roadmap to help other teams achieve effortless coordination.
During her tenure at Asana, Jackie has seen it all: joining the team before the product was publicly available, helping navigate the ups and downs of development, launch, and many, many feature releases.
Before joining Asana, Jackie spent time at Google, working on Google Data APIs and Google Search — a massive scope of work! She also worked at Microsoft as a program manager for Sharepoint, and later as a consultant. She’s a Cornell grad, as well as a published author, and is one of the most experienced product managers out there.
Jackie has a wealth of experience in product management, with nearly ten years of service under her belt at Asana as head of product management. She has worked with the team from before the product launch all the way through to today.
Aside from her product management work, Jackie is also a published author. Her book on product management, Cracking the PM Interview, is a bestseller on Amazon, and she is in the process of completing her follow-up, Cracking the PM Career.
Asana is one of the easiest ways for project managers to keep track of their team’s work, and get results.
Asana also provides a solid center of gravity for any project and helps managers stay on top of the multiple moving parts involved in a product’s development.
Jackie’s book, Cracking the PM Interview (available on Amazon), is a must-read for any prospective product manager. Her follow-up, Cracking the PM Career, promises to be full of gems, wisdom, and expert guidance as well.
Jackie shares her personal views on the world of product management on her Medium account. She also posts regularly on Twitter as @jackiebo.
